More ribbon ideas

This is another ribbon idea I showed the stamp club ladies. The idea was presented at a Stampin' Up! regional event. This card features some of the paper from the Palette o' Prints pad. I explained this pad and its exclusivity here. You can also click on the links to the left and see Stampin' Up!'s flyers about this promotional sneak peek. The ladies loved seeing, touching, playing with something so totally new - I mean we don't have the new catalogue yet, but we're playing with a new catalogue item. How neat is that! I layered a piece from the palette onto a piece of Almost Amethyst and then onto a Certainly Celery cardbase stamped with the flower stamp from the retiring Fresh Fillers. I used a greeting from a hostess set, also not to be seen again after June 30th. It's great the way the colours in this pad co-ordinate perfectly with the colours in the Sweet Shop ribbon set. I think the ladies had fun creating their butterflies, especially when they saw how truly easy it is! Leave me a comment if you would like instructions.
