Happy Mom's Day!

A stamper who goes by the screen name devh posted a Doodle This! card that I just loved. This is my CASE of that card. Her original is in pink, and she uses a few non-SU! products that I don't have. So my version is here, in two colours. I think these are going to be my Mother's Day cards for this year. Three round flowers are stamped on shimmery white with Staz-On and watercoloured by scribbling marker on a plastic lid and picking up the colour with an Aquapainter. Then they are cut out. The card base is folded "hotdog" style, longways. The base is stamped with the Doodle This! corner in black, along with three round flowers, and the greeting, which come from Warm Wishes. Lots of white gel pen to accent the doodles with dots, white craft ink applied dtp all around the edges, and some white gel pen and dazzling diamonds on the three small flowers complete the base. The small flower that is raised up at the apex of Doodle corner is from Pocket Friends (retiring). I am really enjoying the Doodle This! set and hope to see it in the new catalogue in two months. And I hope our mothers like their cards. I think Brian's mom is getting the green one, and my mom the pink.
