Pearled Doodles

This was a card we made at last Wednesday's workshop. This is a little beyond a beginner group, so this card reflects that. It features cut out flowers from the Doodle This set in the spring mini. The flowers were inked with Black Staz-on and stamped on Certainly Celery, Rose Red and So Saffron and then edged in ink of the same colour. They were painted with Pearl Ex and future floor wax (love those Aquapainters!). Once dry we cut them out. We stamped the doodles in black on Certainly Celery and add bling with the 2 way glue and dazzling diamonds. We distressed the edges of the rose layer with the edge of my paper snips - which I'm now regretting - they seem to be much more dull - not surprisingly. So I may break down and buy the tool in the catalogue and spare my craft scissors. Cute card, though, eh? (And I know that out there on someone's gallery, I 've seen a card that inspired this one, but I have no clue where I got it - if it's yours, let me know and I'll gladly you the credit).
